Giving back through life-changing experiences.
Angels For Aja is led by a group of volunteers. Comprised of Aja's family, friends and community members, who all want to be part of the change
Established in 2014 after the senseless and tragic murder of 23 year old Aja Dawn Robinson and so many others worldwide, who died due to Intimate Partner/Domestic Violence. Aja's mother, Lisa Robinson founded Angels For Aja as part of her commitment to helping as many men, women and children to stop the cycle of interpersonal violence and trauma that plagues our communities
Angels For Aja was established to provide education and awareness to the community in an effort to reduce the overwhelming number of injuries, deaths and unnecessary traumas associated with interpersonal/dating domestic violence.
Through Community Engagement. Whether it be community meetings and events, health fairs, networking or holding workshops
Through Social Media, Media Interviews, Public Appearances at Community Events and Organizations and through a Podcast and Blog that Lisa Robinson created
Whether it's by lending a compassionate and non-judgmental ear, or assisting you with completing a safety plan to use if and when you are ready to leave your situation, we would like to help. We are also available to accompany you to court heart hearings or to the Police Station. If you are in need of resources, we will try to connect you to the resources, or at least connect you to the right people who can get you those resources.
Please Let Us Know If We Can Assist You or Someone You Know
